：駐日インド大使館は、日本政府が実施する「女性が輝く社会に向けた国際シンポジウム」に協力することとしました。駐日インド大使館において、女性のエンパワーメントに関する展示会「Women by Women」を開催し、関連するDVDの上映も行います。
Embassy of India decided to collaborate with Government of Japan in organizing the event titled “World Assembly for Women” 2014 and will hold women empowering exhibition “Women by Women” at the embassy’s gallery including playing women empowering DVD’s.

During the Shine Weeks Impact will be launching the Flourish Female Leadership program in Japan, with an official speech by Mrs. Abe who is a supporter of the program. The team will run a 1-day workshop for participants and future participants that will mark the start of a 6-month journey to empowerment and creation of sustainable culture change for senior female leaders in Japan. The event will be attended by Global women empowerment guru Denis Murphy the Impact International delivery team including Flourish creator Tiffany Newell and other external experts of women and leadership. The workshop specifically focuses on discussions around overcoming self limiting beliefs and the role of women in leadership and will be covered by a film crew and documentary maker.

The Embassy of Colombia will offer a seminar where the main aspects of Colombian culture will be presented, including some details about the coffee tradition and videos of the most appealing touristic destinations. There will be a specific section as well that relates to the role of women in the country and their presence in different circles of society. A dancing performance of the traditional rhythm of "cumbia" will be also part of the activity.

：このイベントの目的は日本とインドの詩において女性がいかに表現されてきたかを知ることそして詩を通して二国間が深い文化的，文学的関係にあると知ることです。日本とインドの5人の女性詩人の厳選作品がそれぞれヒンディー語と日本語に翻訳される予定で，講演会及び女性による詩の朗唱会が開催され，詩の朗唱会はインドの女性詩人による行われます。日本の詩もインドの詩人によって朗唱される予定です。
The objective of this event is to see how women have been represented in the poetry of Japan and India and to know each other through poetry for deeper cultural and literary relations between our two countries. Selected works of five women poets of Japan and India will be translated into Hindi and Japanese respectively. Lecture cum poetry recitation of women poetry would be carried out. Poetry recitation would be done by Indian women poets and Japanese poetry will also be recited by Indian poets.

Today, as a result of processes of sensitization and awareness about new roles of women, we are called to achieve gender equality and the signing of international agreements to eliminate violence against women and all forms of discrimination.
In the Caribbean Region are being conducted transformation processes for empowerment of women, their abilities and rights. Have also been generated spaces where women's participation is vital to the economic growth of the Region.
It is for this reason that this event, the "Universidad Autonoma del Caribe" and the "Secretaria de la Mujer y Equidad de Genero de la Gobernacion del Atlantico", have partnered to create a space for reflection on our challenges, to achieve equality real, raise awareness and highlight the implementation of government commitments, show the impact of certain actions, reflecting an important projection of women in various areas of participation.

：The British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) has been running events on gender diversity for approximately 3 years, involving multi-national corporations, entrepreneurs and government. By now, we all know the background and buzz surrounding opportunities for women in Japan. And one generation of women executives are now showing the way forward. But what about the next generation - the graduates and new entrants who'll populate the workforce over the next few years? Do we really know what they want, who they are, what they think - and do all of the latest corporate and government initiatives around diversity and inclusion really match their aspirations, expectations and abilities?
On September 19, we will hear not only from senior female executives but from this next generation. In an informal, off the record, conversation, let us learn from the most important group of all - the young people who will carry the baton forward. And let us consider the implications of their views on government policy, corporate hiring, HR, and marketing.

：Professor Judith Freedman, Pinsent Masons Professor of Tax Law at the University of Oxford will be giving a lecture in Tokyo entitled "Is the international tax system broken?" as part of the University's "Oxford Academics in Japan" lecture series. This lecture is aimed at alumni, partners and friends of Oxford, is free and open to all.
The University of Oxford has recently launched an initiative entitled OWL (Oxford Women in Law) which aims to provide a network for female graduates of the University of Oxford working in legal careers to discuss work issues, to share experiences and to enhance their relationship with each other and the Oxford Faculty of Law.
The Dean of Oxford's Law Faculty, Professor Timothy Endicott will be joining Professor Freedman at the lecture and will launch OWL in Japan. This will be an occasion for senior leaders from the University of Oxford to present the initiative and to encourage alumni to actively participate in it.
オックスフォード大学で租税法を教えるジュディース・フリードマン教授が東京において「Oxford Academies in Japan」の一環として、「国際税制度は破綻したのか」という名の講義を行う。オックスフォード大学ではOWL（法律の世界にいるオックスフォードの女性達）という名のイニシアチブを発足させた。今回のフリードマンの講義にはオックスフォード大学法学部学長のティモシー・エンディコットも参加し、日本OWLの発足を発表する。
