皆さん日本にようこそいらっしゃいました、外務副大臣の伊藤でございます。
On behalf of Japanese Government, I would like to extend my heartfelt welcome to 25 foreign-service officials and 5 public officials from all over the world, who are here today, for the Japanese Language Program. I sincerely hope that you will have a fruitful stay in Japan.
I would also like to extend my deep appreciation to the distinguished guests, including your Excellencies to Japan, members of diplomatic missions in Tokyo, Mr. Amemiya of the Japan Foundation and all those who are involved with this program, who have come today despite your busy schedules.
All the participants are prominent persons who are expected to bear the future of their countries.
I sincerely hope that you, participants, here today will make most of this opportunity in a high spirit for strengthening the bilateral diplomatic relationship between Japan and your country. It is also my wish that, with your experience in Japan, you will become a bridge between Japan and your country.
大いに頑張ってください。
Thank you very much for your attention.
