Attendance at the ASEAN-related Foreign Ministers' Meetings
(July 9-12, 2025)

From July 9 to 12, Foreign Minister IWAYA visited Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, to attend ASEAN-related Foreign Ministers' Meetings (ASEAN-Japan Foreign Ministers' Meeting, ASEAN Plus Three Foreign Ministers' Meeting, East Asia Summit (EAS) Foreign Ministers' Meeting, and ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF)).

During the visit, the Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the Fourth Conference on Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD) were also held, as well as bilateral meetings with other countries.

(June 30-July 2, 2025)

From June 30 to July 2, Foreign Minister IWAYA visited Washington, D.C., and attended the Japan-Australia-India-U.S. (Quad) Foreign Ministers' Meeting on July 1st.

During his visit, Minister IWAYA also held a bilateral meeting with the Honorable Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States of America.

Visit to the Netherlands

Foreign Minister IWAYA visited The Hague, the Kingdom of Netherlands, from June 24 to 26, on the occasion of the NATO Summit Meeting. In The Hague, he held talks with the NATO Secretary General and various countries, including the G7, and discussed important current international issues.
