Current Status of Implementation 2009
- Status
- (i) JOCV and Experts have been dispatched and technical cooperation projects are under implementation in promoting OVOP,
(ii) Rwanda has established the OVOP interim committee and submitted the concept paper (preparatory study mission will be dipatched in April 2010) ,
(iii) In 2009, a total of 12 countries - 9 countries excluding Ghana where the project is on-going and 3 other countries (Swaziland, Lethoto, South Africa) - participated in the OVOP related training courses in Japan.

- (i) Activities for promotion of OVOP including technical cooperation projects, JICA experts and training programmes were prepared, (ii) a workshop was held in Southern Ehtiopia in February 2009, (iii) the OVOP concept papers were drafted in Kenya, Ethiopia and Mozambique, and (iv) In 2008, a total of 14 countries - 11 countries excluding Ghana where the project was on-going and 3 other countries (Tunisia, Mali and Rwanda) - participated in the OVOP related training courses in Japan.
