People-to-People Exchange

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan invites leaders from various fields, including politics, economics, administration, and academia from around the world to Japan to deepen their understanding of Japan and promote the strengthening of networks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan supports youth exchange in a variety of forms.

This program is intended for young foreign-service officers and public officials who require Japanese-language ability to perform their work at overseas government and public institutions. With cooperation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Japan Foundation invites such people to Japan for an 8-month period to conduct training in Japanese language and circumstances.
