  1. The tenth meeting of the Advisory Panel on Climate Change was held on March 19, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the attendance of Ambassador Hideo Suzuki, Assistant Minister, Director-General for Global Issues.
  2. At the tenth meeting, after the opening remarks from Ambassador Suzuki, Ms. Yasuko Kameyama (Ph.D.), Deputy Director, Center for Social and Environmental Systems Research, National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), made brief presentations on risks brought about by climate change to society and economy. Based on the presentation by Dr. Kameyama, participants exchanged their opinions and views.
  3. The next meeting will be held at the end of March.
