  1. The ninth meeting of the Advisory Panel on Climate Change was held on March 5, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the attendance of Ambassador Hideo Suzuki, Assistant Minister, Director-General for Global Issues.
  2. At the ninth meeting, after the opening remarks from Ambassador Suzuki, Dr. Dolf Gielen, Director of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Innovation and Technology Centre and Mr. Dana Reed Younger, Chief, Renewable Energy Specialist, Global Infrastructure and Natural Resources Department, International Finance Corporation, made brief presentations. Based on these presentations, participants of the meeting exchanged their opinions and views.
  3. The next meeting will be held in middle of March.
