  1. The second meeting of the Advisory Panel on Climate Change was held on January 17, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the attendance of Ambassador Hideo Suzuki, Assistant Minister, Director-General for Global Issues Division.
  2. At the second meeting, after the opening remarks from Ambassador Suzuki, Mr. Ken Isono, as President Shizen Energy Inc., Mr. Osamu Ikki, as President RTS Corporation, Mr. Hideyuki Ohnishi, as President GE Renewable energy, and Mr. Masato Yamada, as Vice President MHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S made brief presentations. Based on these presentations, participants of the meeting exchanged their opinions and views.
  3. The next meeting will be held at the end of January.
