(ii) Support to Power Pools

On target. Total support to regional power pools corresponds to $1.2 billion already committed and $1 billion pipeline. IFC and MIGA are identifying private investors for power sector PPPs. In collaboration with the World Bank and IFC, MIGA to consider insuring PPP power projects in 2009-2012. The WBG is also supporting the lighting Africa Initiative to increase access to affordable sustainable lighting
