Some examples include:(i) Zambia: support to Road Sector Budget Support addressing special transport needs coupled with Support to Aviation Sector, (ii) Uganda: Support of the rehabilitation of the Northern Corridor to ensure transport needs of landlocked countries (including Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda) are met, (iii) Tanzania: Sector Budget support was in the pipeline, with the aim of strengthening the intermodal transport although it mainly focuses on roads, and (iv) National Indicative Programmes (NIP’s) and Regional Indicative programmes (RIP’s) were studied and evaluated to identify individual projects.
