Japan-Philippines Relations

His Excellency Mr. Benigno S. Aquino III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, paid a state visit to Japan from June 2 to June 5, 2015. The President made a state call on their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan on the morning of June 3, and attended a State Banquet hosted by their Majesties the Emperor and Empress in the evening. The President also delivered a speech before two joint session of the National Diet of Japan on the afternoon of June 3. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, held a summit meeting with as well as hosted a banquet for the President on June 4.
