(i) The International Forum on ESD Dialogue 2008 took place in Tokyo from 3 to 5 December, to discuss concrete actions on the implementation of ESD activities with UNESCO member countries including Africa and (ii) the Conclusion and Recommendation for promoting ESD over the next five years was adopted by 350 participants from 39 countries including 6 African countries.
