1. On November 5, commencing at 12:15 p.m., Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, had lunch with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, at the clubhouse at Kasumigaseki Country Club (Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture), followed by playing golf with Mr. Hideki Matsuyama, a professional golf player.

2. On the same day, commencing at 7:40 p.m. for approximately 85 minutes, Prime Minister and Mrs. Abe invited President and Mrs. Trump to dinner.

3. While playing golf and having dinner together, the two leaders exchanged views on a broad range of topics regarding Japan-U.S. relations, and deepened their friendship amid a cozy atmosphere, having a conversation on golf and their families.

[Reference 1] This is the second time the two leaders have played golf together. The first time was at Palm Beach, Florida in February this year.

[Reference 2] Kasumigaseki Country Club is scheduled to be the golf venue for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
