Use of the Official Title and Logo Mark for "ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year 2003"

1. Official title of "ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year 2003"

(1) The Official title (English) of the Exchange Year is as follows:

   "ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year 2003"
   The contact person of each country can decide on which language of Japanese or each ASEAN country's national language to be used for the title. The Japanese title will be the "Nihon-ASEAN Koryunen 2003".

(2) The official English title of the Exchange Year will be used as a common title to both Japan and each ASEAN country for publicity media (posters, leaflets, programmes, web-site, placards and screens in the venues) of the recognized programmes/activities. In addition, titles translated in Japanese or each ASEAN country's national language can be used at the discretion of the organisers of the programmes/activities.

2. Logo mark for "ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year 2003"

   Organisers of recognised programmes/activities for "ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year" will use the official title and the logo mark for the Exchange Year on the following conditions.

(1) The logo mark will be used in line with the design requirements.

(2) The logo mark can be used in principle up to December 31, 2003.
(Note) If registered commemorative events of the ASEAN-Japan Exchange Year 2003 are rescheduled due to the spread of SARS, such events can be held by the end of March 2004 (FY 2003) as registered ones using the official title and the logo.
