All 10 ITTO member countries in Africa (Cameroon/Central African Republic/Republic of Congo/Côte d’Ivoire/DRC/Gabonese Republic/Ghana/Liberia/Nigeria/Togo)
Status
Implementation of TPs, mentioned hereafter, in all three tropical regions (US$337,000) (representing one third of the equally sharing of the amount pledged by the GoJ)
(i) Thematic Progamme on Reducing Deforestation and Forest Degradation and Enhancing Environmental Services in Tropical Forests (TP-REDDES)
The REDDES Thematic Programme Advisory Committee has approved one Project and one Activity to be implemented in Ghana and in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) respectively (see details):
(ii) Thematic Programme on Community Forest Management and Enterprise (TP-CFME)
This Thematic Programme was launched after the initial meeting of its Advisory Committee held on 1-2 March 2010.
(iii) Trade Market and Transparency (TP-TMT)
This Thematic Programme was launched after the initial meeting of its Advisory Committee held on 4-5 March 2010.
