The Project on the transferring of technology on the production of antimalarial drugs in Burundi

The Project on the transferring of technology on the production of antimalarial drugs in Burundi is divided into 3 phases :
(i) First phase (10-17 May 08) - Fact-finding, (ii) Second phase (11-26 July 08) - Technology trasferring to 8 Burundi officers at the National Institute of Public Health to produce artesunate suppositories, and (iii) Third phase (23 Aug-22 Sep. 08) - Technology trasferring to 5 Burundi officers at the National Institute of Public Health to produce artesunate tablets and amodiaquine tablets which are later named after Thailand and Burundi as “THAIBURAR” and “THAIBURAM” successively.
