Current Status of Implementation 2009

- On-going.
(i) Health systems for outcomes programs are under design and implemenation in 14 focus countries. Regional support hubs established in Dakar and Nairobi, in cooperation with other partners.
(ii) Results-based financing of health programs are under implementation in 6 countries.
(iii) Phase 2 of Malaria booster program (2008-11) is underway, with 18 countries implementing booster programs. A $140 million Regional Health Systems Strengthening and TB Control Project is under preparation. FY2009 HIV/AIDS commitments totaled $ 293 million, up from $64 million in FY2008, with an estimated FY2010 pipeline of $76 million.
