Status
(i) AMV projects are being implemented by UNDP in 8 countries through UN Trust Fund for Human Security and bilateral assistance through UNDP in Mozambique and Cameroon. (ii) School meals programmes have been established in all countries, and gross primary school enrollment rates have increased. The male-to-female ratio in primary education has improved, and women have been included in community decision-making. (iii) Expansion of bilateral assistance through UNDP to 2 other countries (Benin and Madagascar) is under consideration.
