Yokohama Action Plan: [1]Provide assistance to improve investment climate including the legal and regulatory frameworks in African countries.
[2]Support the establishment of an information and consultation platform on the business climate for private companies intending to enter into African markets.

(i) Establish or promote an information and consultation platform on the business climate in Africa,
(ii) Contribute to achieve self-reliance development of competitive local industries and improve economic and corporate governance

・“Symposium for Promoting Trade and Investment to Africa 2009” (Tokyo, November 12) together with MOFA, METI targeting Benin, Gabonese Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Malawi, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe

・ “Symposium for Promoting Trade and Investment to Africa 2008”(Tokyo, December 19), targetting Angola, DRC, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Libya, and Mali, together with MOFA, METI.
