Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI’s attendance at the opening ceremony for “Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings”

On July 11, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony for “Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings”. The overview is as follows.

  1. In her speech, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri referred to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and stated that this exhibition will have great significance in helping people to convey the tragedy experienced by Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to reaffirm the importance of peace. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri also expressed her hope that the desire for a world without nuclear weapons spread even further.
  2. Subsequently, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Eri joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony for “Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings”.
