The President of the Republic of Panama to visit Japan

1. H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, President of the Republic of Panama, and Mrs. Lorena Castillo de Varela will pay a working visit to Japan from April 17 to 21.
2. During their stay in Japan, Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan will meet President Varela and Mrs. Castillo de Varela. Mr. Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan, is scheduled to hold a meeting with the President Varela and host a dinner for him.
3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President Varela and Mrs. Castillo de Varela, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Panama.
