Messages of Condolences from Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida for the Damage Caused by Floods in Myanmar

In the wake of the damage from flooding caused by ongoing torrential rain since last month in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, sent messages respectively to H.E. U Thein Sein, President of Myanmar, and H.E. U Wunna Maung Lwin, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, on August 4 in which they extended their condolences to the affected people and their prayers for the rapid recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas.
