Earthquake Damage in Nepal: Dispatch of the second Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team

1. The Government of Japan decided to dispatch the second Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team consisting of 34 persons* to Nepal from May 7, in response to the request from the Government of Nepal following the damage caused by the massive earthquake.
2. The second JDR Medical Team will take over the duties from the first JDR Medical Team and will be engaged in medical relief activities in Nepal.

The Japan Disaster Relief Medical Team consists of the Head of Delegation, doctors, nurses, pharmaceutists,medical logistitians,and logistitians.
