The Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to Visit Japan

1. H.E. Mr. Ahmet Üzümcü, Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons（OPCW）, will visit Japan from February 9 to 13 as a Guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. During his stay, Director-General Üzümcü will meet high-ranked government officials. He is also scheduled to visit Hiroshima and Kyoto.
3. It is expected that Director-General Üzümcü’s visit to Japan will further deepen the cooperative relationship between Japan and the OPCW.
