The Third Meeting for the U.S.-Japan Bilateral Commission on Civil Nuclear Cooperation
1. The Third Meeting of the Bilateral Commission on Civil Nuclear Cooperation between Japan and the United States was held on June 12, 2014 in Tokyo.
2. The meeting was attended by, on the Japanese side, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Environment, the Nuclear Regulation Authority and the Cabinet Office, and on the U.S. side, by representatives of the Department of Energy, the White House, the Department of State, the Department of Commerce, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Environmental Protection Agency.
3. Based on the meeting, both the Japanese and U.S. sides jointly announced the attached factsheet (PDF)
