- The Sixth Round of the Negotiations for the Japan-Mongolia Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held from April 22 to 25, 2014 in Tokyo, Mongolia.
- The Japanese delegation will be led by Mr. Seiji Kihara, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Mongolian delegation will be led by Mr. Ochirbat Chuluunbat, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Mongolia. Experts from relevant ministries and agencies of both sides will participate in the meetings.
- In this round, negotiations in areas including General Provisions & Final Provisions, Trade in Goods, Market Access, Investment, Trade in Service, Intellectual Property, E-commerce, Rules of Origin, Customs Procedures, Competition, Cooperation, Dispute Settlement, Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) and Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) are scheduled to be held.
