  1. On March 27th, Mr. Mitsunari OKAMOTO, the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, hosted a dinner for the Group of Eminent Persons for Substantive Advancement of Nuclear Disarmament (EPG).
  2. At the outset, Mr. OKAMOTO expressed his gratitude for seeing again the members of the EPG, followed by the meeting last November, and his appreciation for the dedicating efforts by the group towards concluding a meaningful recommendation.
  3. Mr. OKAMOTO and the members of the EPG also exchanged views on the latest development of international security situation relating to nuclear disarmament and on concrete measures to steadily advance nuclear disarmament.
