ODA Evaluation Workshops
The ODA Evaluation Workshop provides a platform for donors and partner countries in the Asia Pacific region to exchange knowledge and experiences in ODA evaluation. The primary aim is evaluation capacity development in partner countries in the region. The long-term goal of evaluation capacity building is to improve not only aid effectiveness but also ownership and accountability of development cooperation.
MOFA has organized seventeen workshops since 2001, in partnership with governments of hosting countries of the workshops and evaluation-related organizations. These workshops were well attended by officials from Asian and Pacific island countries as well as several relevant international and regional organizations.
In the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the workshops in FY2020, MOFA commissioned the expert and the consultant to look back on the past ODA Evaluation Workshops.
