INTERNATIONAL MEDIA CENTER (IMC)

The International Media Center (IMC), set up at Kyoto International Conference Center (KICC), is a facility for media to cover the G8 Kyoto Foreign Ministers' Meeting (hereafter referred as Foreign Ministers' Meeting). Various services and facilities are provided at IMC to expedite media coverage.

Admission to the IMC

Access to IMC is permitted only to Press ID card for G8 Kyoto Foreign Ministers' Meeting holders and holders of other authorized IDs.

Individual Booths for Media Organizations

There will be rooms available for use of individual booths for media organizations on the 5th and 6th floor of KICC. Please contact KICC for reservation.

International Broadcasting Center (IBC): Operated by NHK International

IBC mainly offers Broadcasting organizations (TV/Radio) various media service. IBC distributes taped Host Image and support transmission of reporting material to participating media's home countries. Please contact IBC for details.

Kyoto Information Center

Kyoto Committee for 2008 G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting is happy to introduce Kyoto. All participants are welcome. There will be a event for media held by the Committee.

Parking

Parking admission card will be required for parking. Limited numbers of parking admission cards will be allotted to each media organization. Those who need to apply for the card, please contact G8 Secretariat through E-mail (g8fmmkyoto-press@mofa.go.jp). The application deadline is Mon. June 16.
