On April 10, Foreign Minister Kishida, who visited Itsukushima Shrine and had a working dinner in Miyajima Island, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture with the other G7 Foreign Ministers during the G7 Hiroshima Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, hosted a cocktail reception for G7 Foreign Ministers on a cruise ship upon their return to Hiroshima Port. The shipboard cocktail reception presented an opportunity to hold informal talks in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, it was also an extremely worthwhile occasion to effectively promote Japan’s food culture by presenting and showcasing hors d'oeuvres made with ingredients produced in Hiroshima Prefecture and so on, as well as Japanese sake from Hiroshima and Japanese whisky.
