Mongolia
Programme Provision of air traffic control system and related equipment

Grant amount 1,300,000,000 JPY
Outline This programme aims to provide air traffic control system to Mongolian Air Force, and it is expected to strengthen the situational awareness and air traffic control capabilities of the Air Force. It is also expected to contribute to ensuring security and safe use of the airspace based on the rule of law in Mongolia and throughout the region.
Indonesia
Programme Provision of high-speed patrol boats

Grant amount 1,000,000,000 JPY
Outline This programme aims to provide high-speed patrol boats to Indonesian Navy, and it is expected to contribute to enhancing monitoring and surveillance capabilities of Indonesia. It is also expected to further advance security cooperation between Japan and Indonesia.
Djibouti
Programme Provision of coastal radar system and related infrastructure

Grant amount 1,100,000,000 JPY
Outline This programme aims to provide coastal radar system and related infrastructure to the Djiboutian Navy, and it is expected to enhance monitoring and surveillance capabilities as well as maritime domain awareness (MDA) capabilities of Djibouti. It is also expected to contribute to the stabilization of important sea lanes and the maintenance and enhancement of maritime security for the whole region including neighboring countries.
Philippines
Programme Provision of monitoring and surveillance equipment
Date of E/N December 5, 2024
Grant amount 1,600,000,000 JPY
Outline This programme aims to provide RHIBs (Rigid-hulled inflatable boat), Coastal Radar Systems and other equipment to the Philippine Navy and is expected to improve its maritime domain awareness (MDA) capabilities to contribute to maintaining and strengthening the regional security. In addition, equipment related to the Air Surveillance Radar System that Japan delivered to the Philippine Air Force as the first transfer case of finished defense equipment will be provided to the Philippine Air Force. It is expected to support the seamless operation of the radar and further improve the monitoring and surveillance capabilities of the Philippines and to lead to further strengthening the security cooperation between Japan and the Philippines.
