- The efforts of the Commission have contributed to international debate on maintaining and strengthening the international nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation regime based on the NPT as well as on a roadmap toward a peaceful world free of nuclear weapons. Working with the Government of Australia, the Government of Japan provides support for its efforts, serving as the Secretariat of the Commission.
