- A symposium on Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held on March 17 (Wed) at the Mita Kaigisho in Tokyo. This Symposium will be organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sponsored by the Nippon Keidanren.
- People from various academic and business fields will participate in discussions on regional economic integration initiatives in the Asia-Pacific Region.
- Mr. Shuji Kira, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs will deliver the opening remarks, followed by a keynote speech by Mr. Yukio Okamoto, President of Okamoto Associates, Inc. Two panel discussions are scheduled to be held in the symposium. The distinguished panelists are Mr. Shujiro Urata, Waseda University Professor, Mr. Takashi Terada, Waseda University Professor, Mr. Tatsuhiko Yoshizaki, Executive Vice President President of Sojitz Research Institute, Mr. Fukunari Kimura, Keio University Professor, Mr. Yorizumi Watanabe, Keio University Professor, and Mr. Masayoshi Honma, University of Tokyo Professor.
