The JENESYS2024: Welcome a Visit of High School Students from the Pacific Islands Countries (Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Nauru)

- From February 26 to March 4, 2025, 28 high school students from Pacific Islands countries, that are, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Nauru, will visit Japan to participate in the “JENESYS 2024” program to deepen their knowledge about Japan with the topic “science and technology”.
- The group will visit facilities in Tokyo to learn the science and technology and visit Shizuoka Prefecture to experience farm stay and other activities.
- It is expected that each participant of the group will play a role as a future bridge to further strengthen “kizuna” (bond of trust) between Japan and the Pacific Islands countries, through their experiences in the program to touch directly the science and technology of Japan, learn the various attractive aspects of the places they visit and deepen their understanding about Japanese way of life.
