World Assembly for Women : WAW! 2015



With the successful conclusion of WAW! Tokyo 2014 last September, the Government of Japan have hosted, once again, "The World Assembly for Women in Tokyo: WAW! 2015" from August 28 (Friday) to August 29 (Saturday). This symposium is one of the efforts to achieve 'A Society where Women Shine', continue to be one of the priority issues of Abe Administration. Scheduled to have many leading figures from all over the world in the symposium, we had lively discussions on various women's issues.

We are designating July 1 to October 31, 2015 as "Shine Weeks"!
We invite those who will be organizing women-related events (any form) which generate movements for "A Society where Women Shine" to register with us to have your events recognized as an official side event for Shine Weeks. You will be a part of WAW! 2015 and our official WAW! 2015 logo can be used in your event.
[Note] Even if your event will not be held during "Shine Weeks", we may consider it as an official side event for Shine Weeks. Please contact us.

World Assembly for Women in Tokyo: WAW! 2015 Application Guideline (concluded)
The Government of Japan will host "The World Assembly for Women in Tokyo: WAW! 2015" from August 28 (Friday) to August 29 (Saturday). Participation as general audience to the Public Forum on August 28 from 14:00 to 18:30 will be accepted.
Please fill in the attached application form no later than August 18 (Tuesday). Please note that the WAW! Secretariat will not accept any application other than the attached form. Participants will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis. Registered applicants will receive an email confirmation from the WAW! Secretariat between August 19 (Wednesday) and August 21 (Friday).
