Meeting between Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Crown Princess of Brunei Darussalam

On March 11th, commencing at 7:30 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, experienced Ikebana flower arrangement and had a brief meeting with Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Crown Princess of Brunei Darussalam, who is visiting Japan. The overview is as follows.
- Mrs. Kishida welcomed the visit of HRH Prince Billah and HRH Princess Sarah to Japan as the guests of Official Visit, and expressed her hope that their visit would be fruitful and provide an opportunity to further deepen relations between the two countries. In response, H.R.H. Crown Princess Sarah stated that she was pleased to visit Japan and expressed her gratitude for the hospitality of the Japanese side.
- They experienced Ikebana flower arrangement together in a friendly atmosphere while receiving a briefing on the history and cultural background of Ikebana from instructors from the Ikebana International Tokyo Founding Chapter, which promotes “Friendship through Flowers”.
- They also exchanged their views on cultural exchanges, etc. between the two countries.
