From September 24 to September 28, Mrs. Akie Abe visited the United States (New York)　accompanying Prime Minister Shinzo where she had various exchanges with many people.
Mrs. Abe held a meeting with Ms. Valérie Trierweiler, partner of H.E. Mr. François Hollande, President of the French Republic, and attended the luncheon hosted by Mrs. Ban Soon-taek, spouse of H.E.Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations. She also attended “The Sixth Annual World Focus on Autism” hosted by the NGO Autism Speaks and Mrs. Ban Soon-taek and visited LaGuardia Community College, The City University of New York and the Food Bank, which provides food for needy people.
