Japan-affiliated companies create jobs in the U.S. and contribute to U.S. exports.
Japan-affiliated companies in America have created 720,000 jobs. In this way, Japan-affiliated companies contribute greatly to the American economy namely by creating numerous jobs.
Exports of their products account for 9.3% (approximately US$43 billion) of total American exports. The combined value of the contribution made by Japanese companies to United States exports is more than the total contribution made by French, German, United Kingdom and Canadian companies active in the United States.
