Did the highly tensed negotiation give negative impact on the cooperative relations among Japanese and U.S. automakers?
A.
Not so much. As a matter of fact, the environment is now becoming more conducive to strengthening cooperative relations. For example, the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show presented the first opportunity in three and a half years for members of Japanese and United States auto manufacturers associations to confer together.
