Courtesy visit to Mr. Naoki Kazama, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, by the Young Officials of FEALAC (Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation) member countries

On November 6th 2012, 15 young officials of FEALAC member countries who were invited to Japan through the "FEALAC Young Leaders Invitation Program" paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kazama, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The summary of the visit is as follows.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kazama expressed his heartful welcome to the young officials of FEALAC member countries and reiterated the importance that Japan attaches to the activities of FEALAC which unites the regions of Asia and Latin America. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kazama expressed his wish that the participants of the program may utilize, in their respective countries, what they have learned and experienced on "Risk Reduction/ Disaster Management" and "the promotion of Eco Business" both of which are common challenge amongst FEALAC member countries.
- In return, the representative of the program's participants expressed their gratitude to the people and government of Japan for the invitation and expressed their wish to share their experiences and best practices in their home countries and to continue fostering friendly cooperation with Japan.
