II. Project / program description

  1. Objectives
    Improve knowledge and techniques in the field of welding technology and nondestructive testing.
  2. Activities / contents
    Types of commonly used welding processes, causes of defects of steel alloys and aluminum alloys, welding construction design, selection of welding consumable and techniques of nondestructive.
  3. Expected outcomes / impact
    Participants in this training course are expected to have acquired practical experience that will certainly improve their work related to metals fabrication or plant maintenance, welding or nondestructive testing.
  4. Features in line with the Agenda for Action
    Promoting transfer of appropriate technologies in order to support social and economic development efforts in Africa.
