II. Project / program description

  1. Objectives
    To share information and experience of both Japanese and Sub-Sahara African countries to understand the situation and problems they face and to know what improvements should be implemented in order to promote trade & investment between the two regions.
  2. Activities / contents
    Hold a workshop which participants are consisted of commercial attaché of Sub-Sahara African Embassies in Japan and Japanese from private sector, organizations (incl. JETRO), economists and NGOs related to African countries.
  3. Expected outcomes / impacts
    • To recognize and understand the real and updated situation
    • To provide clues to solve problems (to promote trade and investment)
  4. Features in line with the Agenda for Action
    JETRO Activities contribute to private sector development.
