Objectives
The SAMP-project objective is to develop ties between museums in Africa and Sweden to create a continuous exchange of knowledge, information and experiences.
The aim of the co-operation between museums in Sweden and Africa is to promote and strengthen the role of African museums regarding cultural identity and to enhance the importance of culture in the development of civil society. Furthermore the project aims to increase the understanding between African and Swedish culture and to develop long-term cooperation and dialogue both between Sweden and its African partners and between African countries in the SAMP-project.

Expected outcomes / impacts
The expected outcomes are:
- to improve the knowledge of museum staff

- to strengthen co-operation, exchange of knowledge and create long-term contact between
African and Swedish museums
