II. Project / program description

  1. Objectives
    To enhance the enabling environment for effective participation of women in the development process and the empowerment of women to advocate for themselves individually and collectively.
  2. Activities / contents
    Organizing gender sensitization activities; promoting the use of existing traditional, social, religious, recreational media; supporting the restructuring process.
  3. Expected outcomes / impacts
    Improvement of life conditions for women through development; creation of favorable conditions for the strengthening and establishment of positive law; strengthening women's organizing capacity; enhancing the development of women's institutions/organizations; identification of solutions.
  4. Features in line with the Agenda for Action
    To achieve such goals specified in the Agenda for Action as the mainstreaming of gender considerations in all development policies and programs and empowering women to fully and equally participate in economic and social activities for more equitable poverty reduction.
