Objectives
The regeneration of indigenous forest which has been destroyed to a large extent by abusive cutting.
Activities / contents
Training and support to help village communities manage their natural resources themselves (forestry, water, ground, pasture and animals)
Expected outcomes / impacts
- Improved living conditions of the people of the region of <LES rônerales> through sustainable exploitation of their available resources
- Greater awareness of the importance of conserving natural habitats and renewable natural resources, in the socio-economic contact of the country
- Improved conservation of natural habitats and the biodiversity of Niger by supporting the adoption of appropriate management methods
- Greater capacity in the public and private sectors to manage and conserve the country's natural habitats and resources
