II.Project / programme description

  1. Objectives
    This project intends to improve primary education and girls enrolment and attendance.
  2. Activities / contents
    • Improve child enrolment and attendance in all standards, especially that of girls.
    • Improve all children's capacity to concentrate and assimilate information by reducing short-term hunger.
    • Contribute to reducing disparities in enrolment and drop-out rates between boys and girls.
  3. Expected outcomes / impacts
    • Increase enrolment of at least 20% and stabilized attendance pattern at assisted schools, with a noticeable reduction in absenteeism and drop-out of boys and girls in all standards.
    • Better leaning through improved educational results by boys and girls in all standards.
    • A more equitable ratio of boys and girls at targeted schools with a minimum of 85% girl enrolment as a percentage of boy enrolment at all standards.
