II. Project / program description

  1. Objectives
    To set-up high level working group on information technologies and communication in Africa with a view to prepare a plan of action.
  2. Activities / contents
    • All the planned outputs were implemented
  3. Expected outcomes / impact
    The 1998 proposed budget is to finance the remaining activities envisaged in the revised project.
    1. Make arrangements for collaborative projects between PICTA members.
    2. Moderate PICTA-CL listserv.
    3. Prepare report of PICTA meeting.
  4. Features in line with the Agenda for Action
    This project is in line with the South South Cooperation and capacity building within the TICAD II framework.
