II. Project Description
Objectives :To acquire theoretical knowledge as well as practice as regards the use of breeze-winds in order to fight against desertification, and protect soils against the advance of desert sand.
Activities: Training in the development of Breeze-Wind in countries with tropical climate in accordance with a "SYSTEMS'" approach.
Number of participants: 15. | Period (per week): 2. |
Expected Results: Provide training to developers in known reforestation in accordance with the systems' approach, the application of which comports the prevailing interaction between protection and the protected species in support of a higher value economy.
Reference: During its 25 years of existence, the TTCA (the Tunisian Technical Cooperation Agency) has organized about ten training sessions in response to needs of partner countries in Africa and in the Middle East. The agency relied on a competence roster comprising the names of universities and experts, which are qualified in a wide range of fields, in order to realize such diverse actions.
Link with the Agenda: This exercise constitutes a concrete action in support of one of the targeted Agenda items.
