- Objectives
(i) To broaden the perspective of agricultural technicians of participating countries.
(ii) To improve the skill and know how of farmers of participating countries on agricultural technique and land management so that they can work more effectively and efficiently and eventually get better income - Activities / contents
- UNDP: Field Workshop on Agricultural Ext, Rice Production Technique Course, Poultry Husbandry, Backyard Shrimp Culture Operation.
- JICA: International Course of Agriculture Ex and Training Methodology, International, Course on Pest Surveillance and Forecasting.
- YAMPE and FAO: Apprenticeship Programme for African Farmers/other developing countries.
- Expected outcomes / impacts
- Improvement of knowledge and skill of the trainees (farmer and agricultural technician) in the management of land, water and post-harvest operation.
- Improvement in farmer's income through the cultivation of value-added agricultural product
- Features in line with the Agenda for Action
