Current Status of Implementation 2009

Status
(i) The Ministry of Health in Vietnam sent additional 8 experts to Angola and 5 experts to Mozambique and (ii) The number of exparts dispatched to Angola increased to 250 and to Mozambique to 20. Tentatively in 2010, the Angola side will receive additional 30 Vietnamese experts and Mozambique will receive about 100 Vietnamese experts.

(i) The Vietnamese Ministry of Health extended the mandate to more than 100 Vietnamese medical experts working in Angola and dispatched 17 others to Mozambique and (ii) It was expected that 50 experts would be dispatched to Angola and 30 others to Mozambique in 2009.
